Correction of iron deficiency in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding

INTRODUCTION: Iron deficiency (ID) occurring latently or as iron anemia (IDA) is common in gynecology, particularly patients with abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB).
 AIM: We aimed at exploring the efficiency of a medication containing ferrous sulfate and multivitamins for correction latent ID treatment mild IDA AUB patients.
 MATERIALS AND METHODS: performed comprehensive clinical, laboratory, instrumental examination 60 women aged 35 to 50 years AUB, revealing many gynecological pathologies (endometrial polyps hyperplasia, ade nomyosis, myoma). The examined were divided into two groups: (group 1, n=38) 2, n=22). Moreover, all had extragenital pathology addition diseases. As treatment, was prescribed 13 months.
 RESULTS: Before hemoglobin level ranged from 95 130 g/L, an average 127.11.8 g/L group 1 100.32.1 2. Serum concentrations groups 9.80.2 6.91.3 mol/L, respectively. After levels serum increased significantly reached normal those examined.  CONCLUSIONS: results study reveal high clinical AUB.
